You never forget your first time.

905 Loma Vista St, was our very first remodel that we worked on together as a married couple. I loved this house so much, and we made some incredible memories here.

We had to beg, borrow, and steal to buy our first El Segundo home. But we did it, we fixed it up and it was an adorable beach cottage, with lots of curb appeal when we were through.

At the time, this remodel seemed like a huge undertaking. Looking back now, it wasn’t. We did very little structural work. We put some lipstick on the interior and added a porch. But the most important add on to 905 Loma Vista, was the roof pitch.

You can change the entire look of a home with just one roof pitch, and we did. So,

we added a roof pitch and porch to every remodel we have done since.

If it’s not broke, don’t fix it.

Having grown up in El Segundo, it was always very important to Scot, that the homes we build look like they belong. We always try to stay within the Mayberry mold. A cookie cutter craftsman, with a hint of beach, a dash of coastal and a sprinkle of country.
