Everyone has different needs and styles when it comes to designing a home. Us Nicol’s love a clean, coastal, craftsman style beach house. We like shingles, we like batons, we like subtle colors, and neutral accents.
If it’s not broke, don’t fix it! There are so many options when designing a home. Whether you like modern or classic styles, the key is to sticking to what you do well, there are positives and negatives in every type of design. Scot and Christina have found great success in developing coastal craftsman homes. It’s not for everyone, but it works very well for us.

Less Is More
Where would we all be without Pinterest??? We all see incredible trends, which these days are print tiles, wallpaper, mixed metals, mid century and modern farm. All of these home design trends are fun, and bloggers have found great success in sharing their swank spaces. But, if you don’t have the funds to be constantly updating your home, keep the bones basic and the esthetics all the rage.
